Lancaster Private Equity investment strategy is heavily risk-analysed and risk-mitigated, but also heavily opportunistic and responsive

Our penultimate investment principle is ensuring we preserve capital invested, our second principle is exploring all options available in maximising returns on investment.
We are committed to developing long-term value by investing in enduring companies through the alignment of interests between investors and management while providing financial, operational and strategic resources and direction. Our approach has generated exceptional returns since the start of our operations in 1979. This has enabled Lancaster Private Equity to multiply its assets under management over this period and become synonymous to sustainable performance.

description home

Lancaster Private Equity operates on a deal basis innovatively structuring and actively managing a separate SPV for each investment carried out. Given our broad base of asset management skills within the business we occasionally are mandated to search for a particular asset type, which we then finance and manage on a full service approach. Lancaster Private Equity underwrites its deals.

Lancaster Private Equity was founded in 1979. Michael Nelson an expert in Tax planning strategically led the business expansion in cross boarder investments.

Lancaster Private Equity grew to include Debt Financing, headed by Arron Burdoe. Under Arron’s leadership, Lancaster Private Equity successfully completed a number of acquisitions in the UK. Peter Blagden contributed in securing additional capital at favourable terms and again the business platform expanded.

In 2015 Loukas Spiliotopoulos joined as Managing Director to lead our private equity investments. His appointment brings years of investment banking experience to Lancaster Private Equity.
